4 Travel Apps You NEED

So you are thinking of taking an international trip once this is all over, huh? Me too! I have been thinking long and hard of some awesome travel apps I used during my trip to Indonesia this past spring and I wanted to share them with you. Here are 4 applications you need on your next trip.

SKYSCANNER

Skyscanner helps you search for flights across the globe and the best part about it is that it compares prices from all other websites and applications and lists them for you. You can “watch” a flight that you want to keep your eye on and it will give you a notification if the price has been reduced. This is my go-to app or website when I'm searching for flights

GOOGLE TRANSLATE, GO FIGURE

The next application I recommend you download is none other than Google Translate. This app has over 103+ languages for you to choose from and has the ability to download a language and utilize it ― even if you are in a situation where you have no internet. Google translate can even translate images in live view for you when you do have signal available. If you ever find yourself in a situation where you are having trouble with communicating with others around you, you can also use this to respond and ask questions.

GOOGLE MAPS

Hey iPhone users (LOL ME) put your apple maps away for this trip! The best map application you can have on an international trip is Google Maps. You can download your maps offline for any out of signal areas and be confident navigating on unknown territories. Google Maps has a voice and visual navigation prompts, will show you reviews, and is super easy to use. There are multiple additional features that it has available to users making this a key navigation application.

CURRENCY

Lastly, you NEED this currency app! It will help you view various currencies across the globe and will help you understand the difference in your native dollar amount compared to the currency in the country you are traveling to. Whether you want to ensure currency exchange companies are being fair in the exchange rates or if you just want to make sure you are properly paying for items this app will help you be set up for success when talking money!

I would love to hear what some of your most loved travel apps are and I hope you enjoyed this blog post!

Xx,

talk to you again soon!
